The Cirque de Mafate is one of the three Cirques on La Réunion. Contrary to the other Cirques Mafate is not developed. There is no infrastructure. Therefore to reach and enjoy this secret region you have to do it like the locals do: take one of the trails leading you to the small mountain villages.
